I'm Kathleen from Bonny Scotland. I'm 30 years of age and love Bowie, tea, disco, dressing like a pensioner, my two cats and the human man I share a house with, amongst other things.
This blog details the adventures of one woman (me) and her washing machine tum.
I have Crohn's Disease and write about my (mis)adventures as I navigate my way through life with defunct insides.
I was eventually diagnosed with Crohn's around August 2010 and had my first (and hopefully last) surgery in January of 2011. Since then I've been doing really well, learning to cope with whatever the disease throws at me (quite a lot).
It's not all doom and gloom though as I try to remain positive in the face of chronic illness.
Feel free to chat, comment, criticize and throw tomatoes, or preferably pants at me.
Let us begin! *drum tum rumble*
