Crohn's Digested

Crohn's Disease is a form of IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) that can affect any part of the stomach and intestines.
The main symptoms of the condition are severe abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhoea, and weight loss. It can also cause many issues outside the body too, such as skin rashes, inflammation of the eye and arthritis. Sufferers often talk of incredible fatigue and lack of concentration.
There is currently, annoyingly, no cure for Crohn's, although there are several treatments used in order to attempt to control symptoms and reduce chances of relapses.
Many Crohn's patients require surgery to help deal with the condition. This is common but not always the case.
But don't let that put you off, read on! x
